
Verse 15- God is to give retribution for ridicule and correction to them and extends delay for them to be taken by vanity and misguidance as deceived ones that is to say that they are let to be wasted in vanity till the time of happening of the misfortune .
Verse 16- The people whose account has been given are indeed those who bartered for wickedness with their good conduct that is to say that they bartered for unbelief with their belief. So neither bartering was of any use nor they would find any method for their release from the misfortune.
Verse 17- An allegory about the enemies at heart is of a person who in a cloudy dark night kindles to behold walk in the jungle but while that fire illuminates its surroundings then God distracts beholding from them and deserts them in darkness of the cloudy night for not to behold near that is to say that to show nothing.
