Verse 10- Their hearts are vexing and God increased this vexing of their hearts. That is to say that as the Noble Word of God reveals with gradual addition accordingly grows jealousy in innermost of their hearts; for them is awaiting a painful doom which will be theirs because mutually they called the Muslims to be liars and in the presence of the Muslims they asserted,”We are Muslims as you are”. *
* One vexing of heart was for accepting of the way of life which they did not wish for and God gave another severer vexing of the heart by commanding to Muslims to wage religious war as a result they had to fight against those of whom they were well-wishers.
